Carl Paladino offered no apologies but pledged a return to issues in his three minute speech to the State. The address relied on his insistence the NY Post stalked his ten year old daughter and he said the story was confirmed by the NY Times.
The speech called for debates and ask for donations to jump start his effort against the money laden campaign of Mr. Cuomo.

Carl's point is the media will ask no questions of StatusCuomo. They all want to make nicey with him and be first in line to lick his booties. SC will last about 18 months, then Silver and the teacher union will flush him. They aren't going to put up with any meaningful changes. The show must go on. Spitzer got flushed, Paterson got it. Now we get us a meaningless Italian who won't be able to make any difference at all. I'm not sure Carl could have either, but it would have been fun to watch Thug Sheldon squirm. Either way, you voters didn't have the stomach for it. So shut up and continue paying the bills.
