Republicans Eat for Victory in Alex Bay/ Lefty Visits HOTLINE

You'd never know there was a race for Governor...or two for US Senate...or Comptroller...or Attorney General, as none of those races or candidates were mentioned by speakers at Thursdays Jefferson County GOP Dinner in Alex Bay.
The absence of references to any of those races is likely due to the fact that party leaders have conceded those races, in particular the disastrous candidate of Carl Paladino.
Local races dominated and Congressional hopeful Matt Doheny got the most enthusiastic reception.
Senate hopeful Patty Ritchie worked the crowd but left early to prepare for a videotaped debate Friday morning at WPBS.
Earlier in the day, Green Party gubernatorial candidate Howie Hawkins visisted the HOTLINE and gave a good left of Cuomo treatise on New York State's woes.
The Teamster and Syracuse resident is a Dartmouth grad and is working hard to get his party the 50,000 votes needed for ballot status.

Howie was very good on the show today. He is definitely well read, educated and intelligent.

But after a while I could not take it anymore and had to turn it off.
How can anyone be that smart and so wrong about everything?
I guess it is a mental disorder...being a contrarian and striving for utopia. Probably from potty training too young.

10:37 I'm with ya completely. The guy was very smooth. He would have been the toast at a Ted Ford party. But what a nutcase. He is definitely living in the right State at the right time in history. He had a government answer for everything. Just take from the people who work and give to the people who don't. Sounds stangely familiar.

Palidino?

But he only wanted to take from the rich "their fair share".

The green party is about the color of money for him.

That statement from Palidino/Ritchie camp was made within the last three or four months. The ticket also includes sending them to welfare camps.. People really get pissed of when the system helps people.

2:04 You're the type of person who makes me secure in my government job. Keep paying your taxes and remain the high level thinker you are.

Then a minute or two later the Republicans are touting former NYC mayor Koch who is now eithty five.. NyC politicans now best for the North coutny . Which way do the a--holes want it. Is NYC our enemy or not

8:54 The fact that you cannot write will go unmentioned. Please Sir, correct one thing. "Add" is a math term. It means putting two numbers together, such as one and one add up to two. Ah forget it. But when you are talking about an "ad", that is short for advertise, something altogether different. If we could all do better on to, too, and two and ad and add, it would be a nicer world. Just think, our public schools would have spent three months on that topic. What's that add (get it, ADD) up to, $5,000 per student? No wonder they call it ADD.
