An 18 year State Trooper has been fired over his wild soires with prostitutes and his gangsta' lifestyle outside of work. Titus Taggart was probably writing seat belt tickets by day and getting down with the ho's at night....And you can bet it was common knowledge for a long time.
Only two years away from full retirement...

When if ever , will required psyche testing every year for law enforcement be the norm . Way too many of these people have domestic violence , control issues or other behavioral issues .
We may not only be at risk from criminal elements but also from SOME (not all) of those charged with public safety or babysitting them in the crow bar hotels in the state.
It seems way Too many of these officers seem to have anger overload or a high need to dominate others .Is burnout an issue ?
Their training needs to include some specific activities designed to resolve and identify these problems BEFORE a person is either initially or subsequently re-certified for duty.
His father was also a big wig with the Troopers, sounds familiar dont it.
I still like him better than I like most cops.
It happens a lot less in law enforcement than it does in the education field.
You are right Jeff. It had to be common knowledge for quite some time. The real question is, what happened behind the scenes that was so far over the line that it prompted his firing only two years before retirement?
