The race for Congress is the only real race on the ballot for NNY voters this fall and while the recent Doheny wedding has taken up a lot of space here lately, one shouldn't think Rep. Bill Owens is without a strategy.
A new video is out showing Mr. Owens as a hands on (as in attentive), moderate man you can trust.
It's a big district and personal contact will matter a lot as candidates seek to cancel out the image of them painted by their opponents spin meisters.

It matters not who Owens is. He may very well be a reasonable and trustworthy man. Trouble is, he is fully owned by one of the most damaging, partisan, foolish, and dishonest politicians our nation has seen in the last generation or so. Nancy Pelosi makes all decisions for him. When it comes to any meaningful votes on legislation that matters, count on stretch face to yank his personally connected chain. The man is not ours. He's hers. Its a sad thing. But it is undeniable.
Right, and even sadder, a win for Doheny would undoubtedly make him Cry Baby Boehner’s Bun Boy.
I disagree that the race for Congress is the ony real race on the ballot for NNY voters this fall. As more and more people are seeing the corruption in the Obama regime, as well as his refusing to inforce the law, extreme socialism, and dictatorial usurping of power, I think, even a liberal state like NY could go for Mitt Romney.

Owens has been everywhere in the district for the last 3 years and doing an incredible job despite the GOP's desperate attacks. Owens is a class act and we are lucky to have him.

Cry Baby Boehner is the type of guy that if sober, can look middle class workers square in the eye and tell them that the GOP would adamantly fight tooth and nail on behalf of millionaires who they believe should make no sacrifice for America, while in a blink of an eye, gladly have working class Americans pick up the tab.

The difference between your pablum and fact, 1:52, is you are drawing conclusions about what you think will happen. In Owen's case, we've already seen what has happened. He has a record we all can look at. And it involves personal service to his queenie, Nancie. He voted the way she told him on the most damaging piece of legislation we have faced in a generation. He then lied about his constituent's input. All this was done while his head was buried in the California Cavern. All you can do is attempt to smear Doheny with what you think he will do. Owens has already shown us. We can play this game all through the campaign. But by all means, tell the people of NNY that Nancie Pelosi is who we want voting for us. Tell NNYers that a man with no spine is what we need back in Congress. By all means, the deficits, the unemployment, let's have some more, eh? You go girl. You keep selling the political drippings of Nancie Pelosi. Your hot dogs were particularly unhealthy this Fourth of July.
Linking Owens to Pelosi and Obama will only hurt his chances. His only hope of winning is the character issue
