Dems gnawing on Dems about fiscal responsibility....Comptroller DiNapoli says the Governor's budget is chock full of "back door borrowing" and unrealistic expectations.
The Cuomo budget does have one unfunded mandate. A higher minimum wage. And it includes the pension "smoothing" proposal that the Comptroller has to pass judgement on.

I didn't realize Mussolini was into back door activities. Not surprising. He should simply borrow the money upfront like Obama does.
I guess I have to raise my opinion of DiNapoli a few points. He is really sticking his neck out here. Challenging the Party Bosses publically is not something cundusive to a long political career in N.Y. The man has cahjones the size of all outdoors to do so. I do hope he learned from Mike Bragman's fate and has his butt adequately protected.
11:11 Maybe DiNapoli is standing up to Mussolini simply because he's an honest man. There always is that possibility, even in New Yawk. Not everyone is motivated totally by party line politics.

Never said DiNapoli wasn't an honest man. Assemblyman Mike Bragman was an honest man whose conscience forced him to challenge the crap that Daddy Cuomo and Silverslug were pulling on N.Y. and they ruined Mike's career. All I'm saying is DiNapoli better be giving some serious thought about protecting his arse when he challeges the Party thugs.
My beef with Dinapoli is the same as I have with most other liberal politicians. Their complete disregard for their Oath to Uphold and Protect the Constitution of the United states of America.
